It’s Been A While……Direct Path

Wow, it’s been a while since I have been in the blogging world. I guess I didn’t realize how busy I would be in going back to work full time. Or maybe I did realize it, but just didn’t remember how drained at the end of the day I would be. Whatever the reason or rhyme, I have been absent from my blogging for far too long. It’s just plain unacceptable. I mean, God gave me a voice that He wants used for His kingdom and His glory, so why have I shut it up lately? It’s time to get back on track and let the voice of God speak through my posts again. And what better time to do it than now?! I actually was reminded of my need to post in reading a devotion tonight. The verse of scripture in the reading was Psalm 37:23

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.”

 

I can’t tell you what perfect timing this verse is for me. I am sure that some of you have had those perfect timing verses. Aren’t they great? God is such an awesome God! And not only is the verse perfect timing, but the promise of the verse is just as incredible! God is directing our paths. He is guiding our journey. We don’t have to worry about where the road might take us. We don’t have to question whether or not our future will be bright. We don’t have to wonder what is around the corner. All we have to do is take the hand of the Father and walk with Him as He leads us. He promises a journey filled with hope & a future. God promises good to us! What joy it brings to know that!
